Representatives of the Roma and Egyptian community from the Riverside and Talum settlements had the opportunity to discuss and familiarize with their rights and obligations in the area of material benefits and legal status during a two-hour workshop. The participants of the workshop most often asked questions related to the regulation of documentation regarding temporary and permanent residence as well as ways of obtaining social benefits (child allowance, allowance for assistance and care of another person, the right to custody). Representatives of the Center for Social Work Berane and an expert in the field of law gave the participants concrete answers to all the questions raised so that the community could solve certain problems it is facing.
The activity is implemented as part of the project “RE community: health, education, employment and social rights” financed by the European Union and co-financed by the Ministry of Public Administration, Digital Societies and Media.
