The promotion of the video “Knowledge is power” as well as the already existing materials related to the suppression of child arranged marriages continued in Berane. Through 7 workshops and interactive communication with the workshop leaders, 58 adults aged 19-65 (36f 22m) as well as 45 young people aged 12-18 (25f 20m) from the Roma and Egyptian community had the opportunity to get acquainted with the values of education and the consequences of child arranged marriage which is primary factor for school dropouts of children from Roma and Egyptian community.
The workshops were implemented within the project “Equal access to the realization of children’s rights in the Roma and Egyptian community”, which is financially supported by UNICEF.
