During the one-day seminar 9 employees of the Security Center Berane had the opportunity to get acquainted with the specifics of the Roma and Egyptian community regarding violence and arranged marriages during police actions. The officials were also acquainted with the Protocol on Actions, Prevention of and Protection against Family Violence as well as with the consequences of child arranged marriage. Guided by the SCS methodology in accordance with the Mini Action Plan for the area of violence the mentioned activity was implemented in the premises of the Security Center in Berane on 30th June 2021.
The activity was implemented within the project “Connection of all Actors in Local Communities for Social Inclusion of Roma Men and Women in Montenegro, which is part of the regional project “For Active Inclusion and Rights of Roma Women in the Western Balkans – FAIR II” which is supported by CARE International Balkans, and financially supported by the Austrian Development Cooperation.
