Meeting for mini action plans

After organizing 4 focus groups with members of the Roma and Egyptian communities in Podgorica, which were attended by 31 people, the Center for Roma Initiatives is 23.10.2020.  realized a joint meeting with representatives of institutions and organizations at which the needs of the community itself were presented as well as how the community recognizes the institutions and organizations themselves.  After that, joint activities were agreed which will be realized within the mini action plans in the field of violence, health protection and education.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the institutions of the Security Center Podgorica, the Center for Social Work Podgorica, the Health Center Podgorica, the Elementary School “Božidar Vuković Podgoričanin” and the NGO Safe Women’s House from Podgorica.

The activities were implemented within the regional project For Active Inclusion and the Rights of Roma Women in the Western Balkans, FAIR III, which was supported in partnership by CARE International Balkans and financially by the Austrian Development Cooperation.
