Centar za romske inicijative je u periodu od 06-08.10. i od 13.-15.10.2017. godine u Podgorici održao dva modula trodnevnih treninga za 11-oro romskih i egipćanskih volontera iz Nikšića i Podgorice na teme nasilja u porodici, dječijih ugovorenih brakova i radioničarskog rada.
Na navedenim treninzima volonteri su imali priliku da se upoznaju sa prepoznavanjem i načinima djelovanja kada su u pitanju slučajevi nasilja u porodici i dječlijih ugovorenih brakova, a takođe su i u okviru poslednja dva dana treninga stekli vještine za vođenje radionica na pomenute teme, koje će u budućem periodu organizovati za svoje vršnjake iz zajednice.
Pomenuta aktivnost realizovana je kao dio programa“Koordinisanim djelovanjem do suzbijanja nasilja i dječijih brakova u romskoj i egipćanskoj zajednici” koji se sprovodi u saradnji sa predstavništvom UNICEF-a u Crnoj Gori i uz finansijsku podršku od strane EU. Ovaj program dio je višegodišnje regionalne inicijative sa ciljem unapređenja zaštite djece od nasilja i socijalne inkluzije djece sa smetnjama u razvoju, koja se implementira u partnerstvu između UNICEF, European Disability Forum – EDF, EU, i vlada sedam zemalja u procesu pridruživanja EU.[:en]The Center for Roma Initiatives in the period from 06th to 08th of October and from 13th to 15th of October, 2017 held two modules of three-day trainings in Podgorica for 11 Roma and Egyptian volunteers from Niksic and Podgorica on the topics of domestic violence, child marriages and trainings work.
At these trainings, the volunteers had the opportunity to get acquainted with the recognition and ways of acting when it comes to cases of domestic violence and child contracted marriages, and also during the last two days of training they gained skills for conducting workshops on the mentioned topics, which in the future they will organize for their peers from the community.
The mentioned activity was carried out as part of the program “Coordinated action to combat violence and child marriages in Roma and Egyptian Community“, which is being implemented in cooperation with UNICEF in Montenegro, with financial support from the EU. This program is part of a multi-year regional initiative with the aim of improving of the protection of children from violence and social inclusion of children with disabilities, which is implemented in partnership between UNICEF, the European Disability Forum – EDF, the EU and the governments of seven countries in the process of the EU accession.[:]
