Od 11. do 16. avgusta 2019. godine, 16 romskih i egipćanskih vršnjačkih edukatora i četiri mentora kroz petodnevnu obuku su ojačali kapacitete da u svom djelovanju kroz primjenu Programa Y utiču na stvaranje okruženja (lokalne zajednice, škola) koje podržava i podstiče rodnu ravnopravnost, promoviše kulturu nenasilja i promociju zdravih stilova života. Trening su vodila dva trenera  iz YMI tima iz Prištine.

Drugi modul treninga u trajanju od 3 dana je planiran u septembru ove godine.

Obuka je realizovana u okviru projekta “Inicijativa mladih kroz primjenu programa Y u lokalnim zajednicama” koji realizuje Centar za romske incijative uz podršku CARE International u sklopu regionalnog projekta “Za aktivnu inkluziju i prava Romkinja na Zapadnom Balkanu FAIR III”.

[:en]From August 11 to August 16 2019, 16 Roma and Egyptian peer educators and four mentors, through five days of training, strengthened their capacity to influence the creation of an environment (local communities, schools) that supports and promotes gender equality through the implementation of Program Y, promotes a culture of nonviolence and the promotion of healthy lifestyles. The training was led by two trainers from the YMI team from Pristina.

A second 3-day training module is planned for September this year.

The training was implemented within the project “Youth Initiative through the Implementation of the Y Program in Local Communities”, implemented by the Center for Roma Initiatives with the support of CARE International within the regional project “For Active Inclusion and Rights of Roma Women in the Western Balkans FAIR III”.
