Centar za romske inicijative održao je press konferenciju dana 30.10.2020. godine, sa počekom u 11 časova u PR Centru, Bulevar Josipa Broza 23A u Podgorici. Na pomenutoj konferenciji je predstavljena Studija slučaja „Jednak pristup prema Romkinjama i Egipćankama u primjeni javnih politika“ čiji je cilj analiza postupanja nadležnih institucija i NVO kroz konkretan slučaj, koji je zabilježen tokom trajanja Pandemije Covid – 19 i izrada preporuka, kao i smjernica koje će služiti nadležnim institucijama, kao i civilnom sektoru za dalji rad na suzbijanju nasilja u porodici, dječjih ugovorenih brakova i drugih oblika trgovine ljudima u kriznim i redovnim situacijama prilikom njihovog postupanja.
Izdvajamo Jednu od ključnih izjava braniteljke za ženska prava u Studiji slučaja: “Podsjetiću sve vas da je vrijeme čekanja ispred Policije bilo punih osam sati, te je žrtva nažalost tek nakon 24 dana smještena na bezbjedno mjesto.” Ovim dokumentom želimo da pošaljemo poruku svim relevanim akterima da postoje načini i mogućnosti adekvatnog djelovanja zaštite žrtve, kroz koordinisani pristup i senzibilnost svih subjekata koji djeluju u zaštiti žrtava trgovine ljudima i javnog zdravlja. Na konferenciji su govorili Fana Delija- izvršna koordinatorka Centra za romske inicijative, gospodin Goran Đurović – nezavisni ekspert, kao i Ivana Bojović- predstavnica Centra za romske inicijative.
Zagovarački dokument je nastao u okviru regionalnog projekta “Za aktivnu inkluziju i prava Romkinja na Zapadnom Balkanu, FAIR III” koji je partnerski podržan od strane CARE Internatinal Balkans a finansijski od strane Austrijske Razvojne Kooperacije.

The Center for Roma Initiatives held a press conference on October 30, 2020. year, with a wait at 11 o’clock in the PR Center, Bulevar Josipa Broza 23A in Podgorica. At the mentioned conference, the Case Study “Equal Access to Romani and Egyptian Women in the Application of Public Policies” was presented, the aim of which is to analyze the actions of competent institutions and NGOs through a specific case, serve the competent institutions, as well as the civil sector for further work on combating domestic violence, child marriage and other forms of trafficking in human beings in crisis and regular situations during their actions.
Here is one of the key statements of the Women’s Rights Defender in the Case Study: “I will remind you all that the waiting time in front of the Police was a full eight hours, and unfortunately the victim was placed in a safe place only after 24 days.” With this document we want to send a message to all relevant actors that there are ways and opportunities for adequate action to protect victims, through a coordinated approach and sensitivity of all actors working in the protection of victims of trafficking and public health. Fana Delija – Executive Coordinator of the Center for Roma Initiatives, Mr. Goran Đurović – Independent Expert, as well as Ivana Bojović – Representative of the Center for Roma Initiatives spoke at the conference.
The advocacy document was created within the regional project “For Active Inclusion and the Rights of Roma Women in the Western Balkans, FAIR III”, which is supported in partnership by CARE International Balkans and financially by the Austrian Development Cooperation.
