Dana 27.05.2021. godine u prostorijama Centra za romske inicijative održan je sastanak sa 6 predstavnika/ca (3ž 3m) relevantnih institucija/organizacija ( opština Nikšić, Centar bezbjednosti Nikšić, Centar za socijalni rad za opštine Nikšić, Plužine i Šavnik i SOS telefon za žene i djecu žrtve nasilja Nikšić) u u cilju zagovaranja za dugoročno finansiranje iz servisa iz lokalnog budžeta za žrtve dječjeg I ugovorenog braka. Predstavljeno lobiranje u pravcu izgradnje Skloništa za žrtve dječjeg i ugovorenog braka, predstavnici/ce institucija/organizacija su podržali/e naglašavajući da je inicijativa neophodna I nužna, a kao takva će biti jedna od značajnih promjena u sitemu zaštite.
Tribina je realizovana u skopu projekta: “Suzbijanje porodičnog nasija tokom krize Covid – 19“ u partnerstvu sa Sigurnom ženskom kućom iz Podgorice.
[:en]Meeting with 6 representatives (3f 3m) of relevant institutions/organizations (Municipality of Nikšić, Security Center Nikšić, Center for Social Work for the Municipalities of Niksic, Pluzine and Savnik and SOS Hotline for Women and Children Victims of Violence Nikšić) was held in the premises of the Center for Roma Initiatives on 27th May 2021. The aim of the meeting was to advocate for long-term funding from the local budget service for victims of child arranged marriages. Representatives of institutions/ organizations supported the presented lobbying for the construction of shelter for victims of child and arranged marriage and emphasized that the initiative is necessary and essential and as such it will be one of the most important changes in protecting victims’ rights.
The forum was conducted within the project: “Suppressing Domestic Violence during the Covid- 19 Crisis” in partnership with Women’s Safe House from Podgorica.
