Centar za romske inicijative je u periodu od 26. do 27. avgusta za 181 učenika romske i egipćanske populacije, koji će pohađati nastavu školske 2016/2017 godine u O.Š. ,,Mileva Lajović Lalatović“ i O.Š. ,,Olga Golović“ u Nikšiću obezbijedio i podijelio školski pribor ( torbe, sveske, olovke, blokove, lenjire, tempere, kolaž papir, plastelin, makazice, notne sveske, računaljke, šestare, vodene i drvene bojice, pernice, ljepilo i fascikle) i 41. komplet udžbenika za djecu od četvrtog do devetog razreda, čije porodice nijesu u mogućnosti da svojoj djeci obezbijede iste.
Pored toga što je 56. roditelja preuzelo udžbenike i školske pribore za svoju djecu, oni su i prisustvovali radionicama na kojima su upoznati sa značajem obrazovanja njihove djece kao i o obavezujućim zakonskim normama i sankcijama ukoliko ih neredovno šalju ili im na bilo koji način onemoguće da redovno pohađaju nastavu.
Neki od najznačajnijih komentara u toku podjele udžbenika i školskog pribora su bili: ,,Spasili ste me, uštedjeli ste mi preko 300 eura koje nijesam imao za moje troje djece.“ ,, Meni, kao samohranoj majci šestoro đaka mnogo znači Vaša pomoć, jer nijesam znala kako ću školski pribor da im kupim.“ ,,Moram da Vam se zahvalim što ste mi obezbijedili školski pribor i knjige za moje četvoro djece, obzirom da ni ja ni žena nigdje ne radimo, nemamo dokumenta.“…
Većina roditelja je istakla da se moraju preduzeti sve mjere kako bi djeca redovno pohađala nastavu, imajući u vidu da su im udžbenici i kompletan školski pribor obezbijeđeni.
Prilikom podjele kompleta udžbenika i školskog pribora, Centar za romske inicijative je svim prvacima romske i egipćanske nacionalnosti podijelio i lopte koje je kompanija ,, Jolly comerce“ iz Nikšića, za sretan početak školovanja donirala svim prvacima, koji će pohađati nastavu u gore pomenutim školama.
Pomenute aktivnosti su realizovane u okviru projekta ,,Pružanjem socijalnih usluga do redovnog pohađanja osnovnog obrazovanja“ koji je podržan od strane Romskog edukativnog fonda (REF).
[:en]Center for Roma Initiatives , in the period from 26th – 27th August, provided and distributed school supplies ( bags, notebooks, pencils, sketchpads, rulers, colours, paper collage,plasticine, small scissors, music sheets,abacuses, compasses, watercolors and crayons, pencil cases, glue and folders) for 181 Roma and Egyptian pupils who will attend the primary schools „Mileva Lajovic Lalatovic“ , Niksic, and „Olga Golovic“, Niksic in 2016/2017 school year; and also 41 sets of textbooks for the children from fourth to nineth grade, whose families are unable to provide the textbooks to their children.
Besides that 56 parents took over the textbooks and school supplies for their children, they also attended the workshops where they got familiar with the importance of their children education, as well as with binding legal norms and sanctions in the case they do not take their children to school regularly or make it disable for them , in any way, to go to school regularly.
Some of the most important comments during the distribution of textbooks and school supplies were: “You saved me, you saved up for me more then 300 EUR , which I did not have for my three children.“ „ Your help means a lot for me, since I am the single mother of six pupils, and I did not know how to buy them school supplies.“ „ I have to say thank you for providing the school supplies and textbooks for my four children, since both me and my wife are unemployed and we do not have the personal documents.“…
The majority of parents pointed out that all measures must be taken in order that children attend the school regularly,taking into account that they are provided with textbooks and complete school supplies.
During the distribution of sets of textbooks and school supplies , Center for Roma Initiatives also distributed the balls (which the company „Jolly commerce“ from Niksic donated for the happy beginning of the school) to all first grade Roma and Egyptian pupils who will attend the above mentioned schools.
The mentioned activities are realised within the project „Providing social services to regular attendance of primary education“, which is supported by Roma Educational Fund (REF).
