Dana 06.  i 13. 06. 2016. godine,  u prostorijama Centra za romske inicijative održane su dvije radionice u trajanju od po dva sata, na kojima su učešće uzeli devet pripadnika/ca romske i egipćanske populacije koji/e su školske 2015/2016 godine uspješno završili/e IX razred osnovne škole. Radionice su organizovane u cilju motivacije pomenutih učenika/ca za upis u srednju školu, kao i u cilju njihovog informisanja o smjerovima koji su im na raspolaganju. Učenici/ce su imali/e mogućnost da sa članom koalicije koja je formirana u okviru projekta ,,Za aktivnu inkluziju i prava Romkinja na Zapadnom Balkanu II” ispred CB Nikšić kao i predstavnicima/cama Centra za romske inicijative razgovaraju o prednostima i mogućnostima koje im obrazovanje pruža. Istovremeno, im  je ukazano na značaj obrazovanja, a u toku razgovora  budući srednjoškolci su se izjasnili o tome za koji obrazovni profil su se odlučili. Uspostavljen je dogovor da im se pomogne prilikom upisa u srednju školu (podnošenje prijave za upis, prikupljanje neophodne dokumentacije, pomoć u rješavanju problema ukoliko ne budu primljeni na željeni smjer).

Pomenute radionice su  realizovane u okviru projekta ,,Za aktivnu inkluziju i prava Romkinja na Zapadnom Balkanu II” koja je podržana od strane CARE International.

On  6^th and 13^th June 2016, at the premises of the Center for Roma initiatives, two workshops ( each lasting two hours) were held. The participants were nine members of Roma and Egyptian population  who  successfully finished  9^th grade of primary school.  The workshops were organized  in order to motivate previously mentioned students to enter high schools, as well as to  inform them about the educational profiles which they can choose.  The   students  had  opportunities to talk to a member of  a coalition (which was established within the project  „ For Active Inclusion and Rights of Roma Women  in the Western  Balkans  II“), on behalf SC Niksic, as well as to the representatives of the Center for Roma initiatives, about the  advantages and opportunities which the education offers them.  At the same time, they were indicated on the importance of education. During the conversation, the future high school students expressed  themselves about the educational profiles they had chosen.

It was established by agreement that they will have help in enrollment the high school ( submission of applications, collecting the necessary  documentation, help in solving the problems if they won’t be received in their desired high school).

These workshops were implemented with the project „ For Active Inclusion and Rights of Roma Women in the West ern Balkans  II “, which is supported by the CARE international.
