Dana 12.11.2015. godine u prostorijama Centra bezbjednosti Berane održan je jednodnodnevni seminar za 15 službenika CB Berane sa pripadajućim Odjeljenjima bezbjednosti Rožaje i Andrijevica na temu „Senzibilizacija službenika policije o adekvatnom radu u slučajevima prijava nasilja u porodici i dječijih ugovorenih brakova u romskoj i egipćanskoj zajednici“. Jednodnevne seminare su vodili predstavnici Internacionalne policijske asocijacije, g-din Slavko Milić, samostalni policijski inspektor Odjeljenja za suzbijanje nasilja u porodici i maloljetničke delinkvencije u CB Nikšić i g-đa Danijela Dukić, mlađa inspektorka Stanice policije za JRM u CB Podgorica, kao i g-đa Fana Delija, izvršna koordinatorka Centra za romske inicijative iz Nikšića.

Na održanom seminaru službenici policije imali su priliku da se upoznaju sa teorijskim i praktičnim aspektima, kao i zakonodavno-pravnim okvirom u postupanju kod slučajeva nasilja u porodici i porodičnoj zajednici i dječijih ugovorenih brakova kod pripadnika romske i egipćanske populacije u Crnoj Gori.

Učesnici seminara su kroz kreiranje zajedničkih preporuka istakli važnost nastavka edukacije službenika policije i drugih državnih organa (sudova, tužilaštava i službenika centara za socijalni rad), kao i potrebi veće posvećenosti istih u rješavanju pomenutih društvenih problema.

Jednodenvni seminar održan je u okviru projekta „Regionalnom saradnjom u suzbijanje dječijih, prisilnih, ugovorenih brakova u zajednici Roma i Egipćana“ koji sprovodi Centar za romske inicijative u saradnji sa Internacionalnom policijskom asocijacijom (IPA Crna Gora) – Sekcija Crna Gora i Ženskom RAE Mrežom „Prva“ uz finansijsku podršku Američke ambasade u Podgorici.

On 11/12/2015 in the premises of the Security Center of Berane one-day seminar was held for 15 police officials of the Security Center of Berane, Security Department of Rožaje and Andrijevica on “Sensitization of police officers on adequate work in cases of reporting of domestic violence and child contracted marriages in Roma and Egyptian communities”. One-day seminars were conducted by the representatives of the International Police Association, Mr. Slavko Milic, senior police inspector of the Department for Combating of domestic violence and juvenile delinquency in the Security Center of Niksic and Mrs. Danijela Dukic, the younger inspector of police in charge of JRM of the Security Center of Podgorica, as well as Mrs. Fana Delija, executive coordinator of the Center for Roma Initiatives from Niksic.

At the held seminar police officers had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the theoretical and practical aspects, as well as legislative and legal frameworks dealing with cases of domestic violence and child, contracted marriages among Roma and Egyptian population in Montenegro.

The seminar participants through the creation of joint recommendations stressed the importance of continuing training of police officers and other state institutions (courts, prosecutors and officials of centers for social work), and the need for greater commitment of the above mentioned to resolve the social problems.
The one day seminar was implemented within the project “Regional cooperation in suppression of child, forced, arranged marriages in Roma and Egyptian communities”, and it was conducted by the Center for Roma Initiatives in cooperation with the International Police Association (IPA Montenegro) – Section Montenegro and RAE Women’s Network “FIRST “with the financial support of the US Embassy in Podgorica.
