Centar za romske inicijative je sa 17 djece romske i egipćanske populacije, uzrasta 12 do 14 godina, u saradnji sa Upravom policije (Centrom bezbjednosti Nikšić, Posebnom jedinicim policije), prisustvovao pokaznim vježbama Tima sa psima i Konjičkog tima, u Nikšiću, u sklopu aktivnosti O.Š. ,,Milija Nikčević“.

Djeca su bila u prilici da se, pored druženja sa policijom i njihovim vršnjacima iz pomenute osnovne škole, od strane službenika informišu i o aktivnostima koje policija sprovodi uz pomoć službenih pasa i konja (prilikom pronalaska opojnih sredstava i droga, oružja i eksplozivnih naprava, uspostavljanja narušenog javnog reda i mira u većem obimu).

Jedna od aktivnosti ,,Druženje sa policijom“, sprovedena je u okviru projekta „Akcija protiv prisilnih i ranih brakova u romskoj i egipćanskoj zajednici” koji je podržan od strane Američke ambasade iz Podgorice.

Center for Roma Initiatives with 17 children of Roma and Egyptian population, aged from 12 to 14 years of age, in cooperation with the Police Administration (Security Centre of Nikšić and Special Police Unit) attended the demonstration exercises with dogs and cavalry team in Niksic, within the activities of the Primary School “Milija Nikcevic”.

The children had the opportunity to, in addition to socializing with the police and their peers from the mentioned primary school, be informed by officials about the activities carried out with the help of police dogs and horses (to find narcotics and drugs, weapons and explosive devices, establishing of the breached public order and peace to a greater extent).

One of the activities “Socializing with police” was conducted within the project “Action Against Forced and Early Marriages in Roma and Egyptian Communities”, that is supported by the US Embassy in Podgorica.
