U periodu od 19-og do 21-og jula 2015. Centar za romske inicijative je u Sutomoru održao dvodnevni seminar u cilju analize Strategije za poboljšanje položaja Roma i Egipćana u Crnoj Gori 2012-2016 i kreiranja preporuka za novu strategiju za period 2016-2020.
Na pomenutom seminaru bilo je prisutno 10 predstavnika/ca Koalicije koja je 2012. formirana u sklopu regionalnog projekta „Aktivna inkluzija i prava Romkinja na zapadnom Balkanu“, a koja se bavi različitim aspektima socijalne integracije Romkinja i Egipćanki u društvu. Među njima su bili: predstavnik iz UP PJ Nikšić, predstavnica iz UP PJ Podgorica, predstavnica iz Centra za socijalni rad Nikšić, predstavnik iz NVO „Koračajmo zajedno“, predstanica iz Crnogorskog ženskog lobija kao i predstavnice iz Ženske REA mreže „PRVA“ iz Ulcinja, Berana i Podgorice i CRI.
Kao rezultat seminara odrađena je analiza već postojeće strategije i napravljene su preporuke za novu strategiju za period 2016-2020.
S obzirom da krajem ove godine ističe Strategija za poboljšanje položaja Roma i Egipćana u Crnoj Gori 2012. – 2016. na dvodnevnom seminaru članovi koalicije su razmatrali strategiju, koje su bile njene prednosti, nedostaci i šta bi trebalo mijenjati u samoj strategiji. Takođe su radili na izmjenama, dopunama kao i preporukama za novu Strategiju za poboljšanje položaja Roma i Egipćana u Crnoj Gori 2016. – 2020.
Pomenute preporuke i analiza će se dalje dostaviti radnoj grupi za izradu Strategije za poboljšanje položaja Roma i Egipćana u Crnoj Gori 2016. – 2020., koja će biti formirana od strane Ministarstva za ljudska i manjinska prava.
Seminar se realizovao u okviru projekta „Zajedničkom borbom do suzbijanja rodno zasnovanog nasilja i dječijih, ugovorenih brakova u romskoj i egipćanskoj zajednici u Crnoj Gori” koji CRI implementira uz podršku OAK fondacije.

In the period from 19th to 21st of July of 2015 the Center for Roma Initiatives in Sutomore held two-day seminar on the analysis of the Strategy for the Improvement of position of Roma and Egyptians in Montenegro 2012-2016 and creating of recommendations for a new strategy for the period 2016-2020.
The aforementioned seminar was attended by 10 representatives of the Coalition that was formed in 2012 as part of the regional project “Active Inclusion and Rights of Roma Women in the Western Balkans”, which deals with various aspects of social integration of Roma and Egyptian women in society. Among them there were present: a representative of Police Administration, Security Centre of Niksic, a representative of the Police Administration, Security Centre of Podgorica, a representative from the Centre for Social Work Niksic, a representative of the NGO “Walk Together”, the representatives of the Montenegrin Women’s Lobby, as well as representatives from the Women’s REA Network “FIRST” from Ulcinj , Berane and Podgorica, and CRI.
As a result of the seminar an analysis of the existing strategy and recommendations for a new strategy for the period 2016-2020 were made.
Since at the end of this year the Strategy for the Improvement of position of Roma and Egyptians in Montenegro 2012 – 2016 expiries, on the two-day seminar members of the coalition discussed the strategy, which were its strengths, weaknesses and what should be changed in the strategy. They also worked on the modifications, amendments and recommendations for a new strategy for improvement of the position of Roma and Egyptians in Montenegro 2016-2020.
The above-mentioned recommendations and analysis will be delivered to the working group for the development of the Strategy for the Improvement of the Situation of Roma and Egyptians in Montenegro 2016 to 2020, which will be formed by the Ministry for Human and Minority Rights.
The seminar was realized as the part of the project “Through joint struggle to combat gender-based violence and child, arranged marriages in the Roma and Egyptian communities in Montenegro” which CRI is implementing with the financial support of OAK Foundation.
