[:bs]Prevencija ranih brakova unutar ranjivih grupa[:en]Prevention of early marriages among vulnerable groups[:]

[:bs]Centar za romske inicijative je 3. maja 2019. godine realizovao radionicu za žene iz romske i egipćanske zajednice u Nikšiću.

Na radionici smo sa 20 Romkinja i Egipćanki razgovarali o tome kako da prepoznaju rodno zasnovano nasilje, ali i koji su to rizici i posledice dječjih ugovorenih brakova.

Učesnice su tom prilikom istakle da su ove pojave još uvijek prisutne u zajednici, ali u manjoj mjeri od kada organizacija djeluje, i podijelile su sa nama svoje lične priče i primjere iz zajednice. Takođe su u toku radionice upoznate i sa prekršajnim i krivičnim sankcijama kada su u pitanju ove pojave.

Ova aktivnost je realizovana u okviru projekta “Prevencija ranih brakova unutar ranjivih grupa” koji je podržan od strane OEBS-a (Organizacije za evropsku bezbjednost i saradnju).

[:en]On May 3, 2019, the Center for Roma Initiatives realized a workshop for women from the Roma and Egyptian communities in Niksic.

At the workshop, with 20 Roma and Egyptian women, we discussed how to recognize gender-based violence, but also what are the risks and consequences of child marriage.

The participants emphasized that these phenomena are still present in the community, but to a lesser extent since the organization operates, and shared with us their personal stories and examples from the community. Also, during the workshop, they became familiar with the misdemeanor and criminal sanctions when it comes to these phenomena.

This activity was realized within the project “Prevention of early marriages among vulnerable groups”, which was supported by the OSCE (Organization for European Security and Cooperation).
