[:bs]Centar za romske inicijative 26.01.2017. godine organizovao je devetu po redu tročasovnu radionicu za roditelje romske i egipćanske nacionalnosti.
Voditelji, predstavnik OŠ »Mileva Lajović Lalatović« i predstavnik Centra bezbjednosti Nikšić su govorili o bitnosti redovnog slanja djece u školu i vašnosti obrazovanja, kao i o posledicama neredovnog slanja djece u školu. Učesnici su pokazali interesovanje za temu radionice, bili su aktivni i postavljali pitanja. Uglavnom su isticali da djeca neredovno pohađaju nastavu zbog udaljenosti naselja u kojima žive od škola. Kroz radionicu su se prisutni dotakli i teme dječijih ugovorenih brakova.
Po završenoj radionici, predstavnici/e Centra za romske inicijative su prisutnim roditeljima podijelili obuću za njihovu djecu, a ostali roditelji će preuzeti obuću u kancelarijama Centra za romske inicijative. Obuća je obezbijeđena za 183-je djece romske i egipćanske populacije, učenike od I do IX razreda osnovnih škola »Mileva Lajović Lalatović« i »Olga Golović«, koja redovno pohađaju nastavu.
Pomenuta radionica i obezbijeđena obuća su dio projekta “Pružanjem socijalnih usluga do redovnog pohađanja osnovnog obrazovanja” , koji je finansijski podržan od strane Romskog edukacionog fonda (REF).[:en]The Center for Roma Initiatives on 26/01/2017, organized the ninth three-hour workshop for parents of Roma and Egyptian nationality.
The facilitators, a representative of the Elementary school “Mileva Lajovic Lalatović” and a representative of the Security Centre of Nikšić talked about the importance of regular sending of children to school and the importance of education as well as about the consequences of irregular sending of children to school. The participants showed interest in the topic of the workshop, they were active and asked questions. They mostly emphasized that children do not regularly attend the school because of the distance of the settlements in which they live from schools. Through the workshop, the attendants talked about the theme of child arranged marriages.
After completion of the workshop, representatives of the Center for Roma Initiatives shared to the parents who were present shoes for their children, and other parents will take the shoes in the offices of the Center for Roma Initiatives. Footwear is provided for 183 children of the Roma and Egyptian population, pupils from first to ninth grades of primary school “Mileva Lajovic Lalatović” and “Olga Golović” who regularly attend classes.
