Forum theater performance and school equipment allocation

Within the project “Education without violence”, on October 29, 2017 in Berane, in the Riverside settlement, the Forum Theater was held for about 70 members of the Roma and Egyptian communities  on the importance of educating children with a focus on girls. The show was performed by amateur actors, high school students and students from the Roma and Egyptian communities, who want to show how important it is to educate oneself and change the negative tradition. After the performance, we distributed school supplies to 69 students from the 5th and 9th grades of the elementary schools from the Roma and Egyptian communities.

This project is implemented with the support of CARE International Balkans in cooperation with local partner organizations Montenegrin Women Lobby from Podgorica and NGO “Ruža” from Berane.
