On the Importance of Education and Consequences of a Child Arranged Marriage at Workshops in Podgorica

On 21^st and 22^nd October as well as on 06^th November 2021, thanks to the organization “HELP” which gave us its premises for use, 10 educational workshops were held to discuss the values of education and the consequences of child arranged marriage The promotion of the video “Knowledge is power” as well as the already existing video material was attended by 62 young people aged 12-18 (44 f, 18 m) as well as 86 adults aged 19-65 years (56f, 30m) from the Roma and Egyptian communities.

The workshops were implemented within the project “Equal access to the realization of children’s rights in the Roma and Egyptian community”, which is financially supported by UNICEF.
