Workshop for girls from Roma and Egyptian community

On 25.11.2019, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, Center for Roma initiatives held the workshop on the theme “Violence against women and girls” which was attended by 11 girls from Roma and Egyptian communities from the fifth to the ninth grade,  from Primary School Mileva Lajović Lalatović. The girls had the opportunity to learn about  different forms of violence and to obtain information which institutions are providing assistance and protection to victims of violence. The message from workshop was “You should always report violence and fight for your rights”.

This workshop was held within the project ”Get Involved and Recognize the Problems of the Roma and Egyptian community”, supported by the OAK Foundation.
