Our peer educator, graduate of the Secondary school of construction and geodesy “Eng. Marko Radević” in Podgorica, Anastasija Vlahović, shared with us her impressions regarding participation in the program and project “Respecting diversity as a tool for tackling gender-based violence.”
“Being a peer educator, that’s priceless! To transfer knowledge and skills to young people, and together with them to create a community without prejudice, stereotypes and taboo topics – an experience for a lifetime. The “Y” program is a program that should be applied around the world, young people must be educated about violence, and we must support them! We must give them support to gain the courage to speak publicly and argumentatively about it. There is no space for fear, no space for violence.
Because as they say, “The world remains on the young people,” Anastasija said.
